Problem Statement:
Under certain conditions, iSTAR Ultra G2 GCM boards will randomly reboot.
Findings:
Timing issues with Processor and Memory can cause the iSTAR Ultra G2 to lockup and reboot.
Software House has made the decision to recall all impacted iSTAR Ultra G2 firmware versions listed below.
These versions and have been removed from www.swhouse.com :
6.8.6.22959
6.8.8.24129
6.8.9.24214
6.8.9.CU01j
6.9.0.25387
Solution:
6.8.9.CU04 has been released with modified Processor and Memory settings to correct the random reboot issue.
Software House strongly recommends upgrading to firmware version 6.8.9.CU04 or 6.9.1 or greater by utilizing the iSTAR Ultra G2 webpage.
